"At the outset he is eager and a bit naïve, but a lot happens to him along the way."
QUICK BIO
BIOGRAPHY
When Turner was only 16, he started working in the movie industry at UCI Cinema Complex, in the square Tallaght.
Aidan Turner was really into films when he was younger, but he feels like a bit of a phony sometimes - He started acting because he didn't know what else to do. He would fill in all those university application forms and he honestly didn't want to do any of the courses.
Turner starred in the six part television drama series, Desperate Romantics (2009), which was about the nineteenth-century group of artists known as the Pre-Raphaeline Brotherhood, where he portrayed Dante Gabriel. He has also starred in the hit TV series, Being Human (2009-2011), as vampire John Mitchell. Before moving to London, Turner worked on The Clinic (2008-2009) as Ruairi McGowan.
He also appeared in the critically acclaimed TV movie, Hattie (2011).
Unlike his other fellow co-stars, Turner didn’t have to wear as much prosthetics for the simple reason was that Kili was much younger than the others. However, like the rest of the Company, he does wear a prosthetic nose.
Aidan Turner is a typical actor, bouncing from one audition to the other. And he leads a very quiet, and personal life.
